THESIS

Graduates who earn their PhD in Sustainable Development and Integration will have acquired knowledge, tools, and skills allowing them to:

- Perform innovative and independent research on sustainable development at the local, regional and/or international level.
- Link specific knowledge within the realm of their specialization to other fields of knowledge under sustainable development and integration guidelines.
- Plan, develop, and lead intervention programs and projects from a cross-functional perspective by following a sustainable development approach.
- Generate innovative knowledge about sustainable development based on an analysis and understanding of current complex social problems.
- Lead cross-functional working groups in activities focused on sustainable development and integration, fostering the creation of networks.
- Advise public and/or private institutions on the preparation and follow-up of sustainability programs and projects.
- Lead knowledge-based research and education projects within the framework of sustainable development.

■ Registration form signed by the applicant.
■ CV specifying the job experience and academic training of the applicant, submitted as a sworn statement.
■ Photocopy of Argentine identity document (DNI, LC, LE, CI) or passport (foreigners only).
■ Photocopy of the undergraduate degree authenticated by the authorities of the institution where it was issued or by a notary public.
■ Photocopy of the academic transcript specifying the completed course of study (including GPA) authenticated by the authorities of the institution where it was issued or by a notary public.
■ Two academic and/or professional letters of recommendation.
■ Letter addressed to the Academic Commission of the course of study explaining why the applicant is interested in the PhD and the topic or field to be addressed in a potential thesis and detailing the applicant’s motivations.
■ Copies of the applicant’s main papers or research works, if any.
■ 4x4 photograph. Birth certificate. Certificate of good health and certificate of blood group.

- Having an undergraduate degree issued by a legally recognized public or private Argentine university.
- Graduates from foreign universities officially recognized in their country of origin must hold degrees equivalent to those mentioned in the previous paragraph, duly certified.
- Having teaching, research, or professional practice experience.
- Admission does not entail a revalidation of the undergraduate degree.

The following conditions are desirable but not mandatory:

- Being an active part of the academic staff of a university engaged in teaching and research.
- Having published papers in scientific or outreach magazines or books (or chapters thereof), as the case may be.
