La provincia de Misiones
Cuenta con una superficie de 29.801 km2, y una población de 1.233.177 habitantes (2018), limita al oeste con el Paraguay, del que está separada por el río Paraná, al este, norte y sur con el Brasil, or medio de los ríos Iguazú, San Antonio, Pepirí Guazú y Uruguay, además de unos 20 km de frontera seca y al suroeste con la provincia de Corrientes a través de los arroyos Itaembé y Chimiray junto con un tramo de frontera seca de 30 km.
Province of Misiones The Province of Misiones with an area of 29,801 km2 and a population of 1.233.177 inhabitants (2018) borders to the west with Paraguay, from which it is separated by the Paraná River, to the east, north and south with Brazil, by the Iguazú, San Antonio, Pepirí Guazú and Urugauy rivers, as well as about 20 km. of dry border and to the south with the province of Corrientes, through the Itaembé and Chirimay streams, along with a dry border of 30 km.
La región trinacional
La provincia de Misiones tiene 1.421 km de frontera, de los cuales el 91 % es internacional, de estos, 910 km con Brasil y 376 km con Paraguay, siendo en su mayoría frontera fluvial. Sobre esa frontera cuenta con 38 pasos fronterizos habilitados (un tercio de los pasos fronterizos de Argentina). Una gran ventaja radica que está rodeada por dos países: Brasil y Paraguay, con 7.964.616 millones de habitantes en un radio de 300 km, y con importantes áreas de producción agropecuaria y agroindustrial ubicadas sobre la frontera con Misiones: Los departamentos Itapúa y Alto Paraná de Paraguay y los estados Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina y Paraná de Brasil, situación que abre innumerables posibilidades de mercados y complementación productiva.
The tri-national region
The Province of Misiones has 1,421 km of border, 91% of which is international. Of these, 910 km are shared with Brazil and 376 km with Paraguay, being mostly fluvial border. On this border there are 34 border crossing points (one third of the crossings of Argentina). Agreat advantage is that it is surrounded by two countries: Brazil and Paraguay, with 7.964.616 million residents within 300 km, and major areas of agricultural and agro-industrial production located on the border of Misiones: Itapúa and Alto Paraná Departments from Paraguay and Río Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná States from Brazil. This context paves the way for countless possibilities related to markets and productive complementarity.
Principales atractivos turísticos
La provincia de Misiones invita a experimentar la poderosa energía de la selva, para lo que ofrece una incomparable infraestructura turística que opera bajo las normas de calidad más exigentes de los principales destinos internacionales.
Dotada de una oferta turística multifacética, las alternativas varían desde el eco-turismo, el turismo de aventura, el turismo rural, cultural e histórico y el distintivo hospedaje en lodges de selva; hasta productos especiales como spa y turismo de reuniones. Misiones cuenta con cuatro atractivos de nivel internacional: Puerto Iguazú, San Ignacio, saltos del Moconá, y el parque temático de la cruz, que permiten distribuir el turismo a lo largo y a lo ancho de provincia, aumentando la estadía y alternativas de actividades para los visitantes.
Las cataratas del Iguazú se localizan en el Parque Nacional Iguazú, Argentina, y en el Parque Nacional do Iguaçu del estado de Paraná, Brasil. Estas cataratas están formadas por 275 saltos de hasta 80 m de altura, alimentados por el caudal del río Iguazú.

Offering a wide array of tourism options, alternatives range from ecotourism, adventure tourism, rural, cultural and historical tourism and distinctive lodging in jungle lodges; to special products such as spa and conference tourism. Misiones has four international attractions: Puerto Iguazú, San Ignacio, saltos del Moconá; Theme Park Santa Ana, which allow distributing tourism throughout the length and breadth of the province, increasing accommodation options and the number of tourism activities available to visitors. Iguazú Falls are located in the Iguazú National Park, Argentina, and the Parque Nacional do Iguacu in the state of Paraná, Brazil. The Park comprises 275 falls of up to 80 m high, fed by the flow of the Iguazú River.
